Hi, I have been involved with the pre-school since 1989 in various guises; on the committee, as a volunteer, as a staff member starting off as an assistant, then supervisor, deputy supervisor then an assistant again. I am now semi retired, working one day per week on the preschool admin. Sometimes I am called upon to stand in if someone is sick or training. I have somehow managed to get voted onto the preschool committee, where I occupy myself as the secretary. I seem to have come full circle.

I live with my husband John and we have two grown up children, one still at home and one who has fled the nest.

I have had various hobbies over the years, most of which focus around the creative and craft areas; sewing, knitting, crochet, card making, bead work and gardening.

I can be quite practical at decorating, flat pack furniture and mending things which is why I have gained the honour of being the settings ‘Maintenance Man’.
