Fish and Chip Quiz night
Our Quiz nights resumed on Saturday 12 November and much fun was had by all. Thanks to Peter Cooke for being the quiz master with help from his wife Jackie. We raised over £300 for preschool funds. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes for the raffle and who took part. Hopefully there will be more in the future.
We achieved “good” in our latest oftsed inspection. You can read the report by clicking the link below.
See our events page for information on our latest events or see below where you can read about some of the past events we have held.
Tesco Blue Token Collection
Thank you if you were able to support us by putting your blue tokens in our slot earlier this year. We were successful in receiving £1,000 to go towards improving our outside area which is currently in progress.
Julie’s Bungee Jump
Julie East very bravely volunteered to do a bungee jump for the preschool and collected sponsors and has raised to date over £600! The jump took place on Saturday 18th May at Wyboston Lakes near Cambridge. It was a wet, cloudy day but Julie faced her fears and bungeed off a crane at a height of 160 feet. Even the spectators legs were like jelly as they watched Julie prepare for the jump. We are all in awe that she has accomplished such a mad but amazing jump and thank her for doing it in aid of our new build project.
Duck Race 2022
The Duck race in 2022 was another great success for the preschool raising just over £1300! Which is amazing! It was so good to see everyone back after 3 years of not running it because of Covid. Thank you to the huge team of helpers for their hard work and the committee for their organisation. Thank you to everyone who bought a duck and to those who came along on the day, without you it wouldn’t be the success it is. See you all again next year!!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Afternoon Tea event on Saturday 19th March 2022. Organised by our committee and run by members of the committee and staff, guests received waited service of tea, coffee, sandwiches, scones and cake. Again this was the first face to face event since 2019, with the option of takeaway teas also available, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to repeat the event again next year.
