Pensthorpe trip
In December, we went on the Pensthorpe trip that we won from their Scarecrow competition we entered. We had a great day exploring around the lake and gardens, feeding the ducks, visiting the Flamingos and Den building. We then went into Wild Rootz outdoor play area followed by lunch and finished the day inside Hootz House play area.

Julie’s Bungee Jump
Julie East very bravely volunteered to do a bungee jump for the preschool and collected sponsors and has raised to date over £600! The jump took place on Saturday 18th May at Wyboston Lakes near Cambridge. It was a wet, cloudy day but Julie faced her fears and bungeed off a crane at a height of 160 feet. Even the spectators legs were like jelly as they watched Julie prepare for the jump. We are all in awe that she has accomplished such a mad but amazing jump and thank her for doing it in aid of our new build project.
Thank you.

Organised by our committee and run by members of the committee and staff, guests received waited service of tea, coffee, sandwiches, scones and cake. Again this was the first face to face event since 2019, with the option of takeaway teas also available, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to repeat the event again next year.
